I am trying to replace my driver's side window switch assembly and was wondering where I could look. I already know to look in junk yards, but I'm trying to find one new if possible.

my bet is your driver side window is not going down...pretty common fault in the drivers multi-switch with the auto down feature. I took mine apart and got some electronic cleaner in there and lightly scraped the contact surfaces with a small pin or something like that to clean any film or oxidation to create a good contact... They are not too easy or too hard to get apart, a bit of studying required to get down to the metal contacts in the faulty switch....but it was well worth it as my window switch now works fine again. Price in canada for a switch is $130 new :screwy:

Could very well be the window regulator is locked up. That would be the most common window related problem. Im sure you already have, but you wanna be sure the switch is bad. Just because you cant hear the motor doesnt necessarily mean anything, you wanna get in there and check it out with a test light. It does require taking the door panel off, but you have to do that anyway to replace anything besides the switch. Just food for thought.
