Hey all. I decided to make a thread for this build since it's a motorsports car. I'm currently doing a Skyline GT-R Legend build at the moment and this is part of that build, but I decided to give it a more spotlight since I'm taking my time on this build.
It's from Tamiya so this will be mostly OOB build. Some CF decals will be used though.

2 layers of paint. Need at least one more.

Work in progress on the chassis.

Comments and tips will be greatly appreciated.

I hope you didn't glue the console in the middle allready because that one should be the other way round :icon16:

^ Haha, yeah, I just put it in to see how it'll look. I already realized it was backwards. =D Thanks for the warning!

^ That is just aluminum foil. Burnish the foil, cut it in the shape it fits, and glue it on.

Okay i got another question for you.....the c/f that comes with kit are you going to put clear on them? If so how?..I dont have an airbrush but would like to know if its okay to brush clear over them..if so how long do i wait?...how many coats..i used set and sol to lay decals down and it still seems wrinkly to me..do they have to be countertop smooth?...ok a lot of questions .still learning

^ Mine didn't come with CF decals. I have CF decal sheets. I just used water when I placed them down. You can use clear though to seal it in. I prefer you brush it cause if you spray it, it might crinkle up and it'll be too late.

@xpedd: last line of bonnet's vents, near the windshield, need to be filled with putty, the job is quite simple but the room to do it is very narrow: I hope you'll take this in consideration since the subject deserve. I would like to see also a bit more definition on brakes: may be a light dark wash would help.
