Please help, I just got a 2000 Intrigue, and the gas pedal is really stiff, you almost have to stomp it to go, can any one help.

I've had this happen a couple of times. Cleaning the throttle body worked for me. I had a bunch of carbon built up on the plate.

I agree. I noticed mine was a little easier to manipulate after I removed the TB and cleaned it well.
You could also try spraying the spring-like things where the cables attach with some WD-40.

While WD-40 is good for a lot of things, the better choice for this location would be silicone spray.
