I was up in the middle of the night to find my fog lights were on. The switch on the dash was in the off position but the small led was lit up. Rocking the switch back and forth made no difference so I started the car and continued to rock the switch back and forth from on to off. Finally the lights went out and I shut the car off and locked it. Low and behold after the headlights shut off the fog lamps came on again! So finally I just pulled out the relay that I had just put in a couple weeks ago. After getting a closer look at the relay it appears to be a little burnt. WTF? Pictures attached...

Looks like the relay shorted out. You might have a short in the fog lights circuit, or a problem with the BCM?

Hey Kevro869, you sure it was the right relay ?
It looks like the corect one just wanted to make sure.

I do remember others having this same issue on 01+ GAs but cant remember what it was exactly... I'll try a search in GA forums!

But Id make sure your underhood fusebox (FB) doesnt have corrosion inside where the wires are. This is a problem with N bodies, water splashing up on this FB.
