1999 Delta 88 VATS Bypass Problem

I am having an issue bypassing the VATS system in my car. I have read many guides on how to do it, and have already found the right resistor to attach between the wires. Only problem is, I can't find the wires. I've read that they are supposed to be two small white wires inside a larger orange one, but I can't seem to find it. Could they possibly be a different color in my car? If anyone has a detailed way of finding it I would greatly appreciate it. My owners manual specifically says it has a PASS-Key II system, but I've read that it is the same as VATS. If that is not the case then please post the procedure to bypass this system.

You might try following the turn signal wire ribbon to it's connector, under the dash, in that connector you should find the two white wires in the orange casing, although due to time and dust the wires may appear brown until wiped off.

On a 92 Park Ave. , the anti-theft module is located behind the glove box on the Delta 88 I'm not sure, but doing the modification at the module might give you more room to work with.

Just a thought.

My schematic shows the wire colors as purple/white and white/black that go from the ignition switch to the theft deterrent module which is located at the center of the dash to the left of passenger air bag....

Personally, I'd look for the two above mentioned wire colors coming down from the ignition switch- I do remote starters and the bypasses of VATS- they are not always in the orange sheave....
