Next Toony CAR-toon, "Drift What?"Blip 02-26-2009, 05:41 PM Found this great ref article about a very cool custom 61 Ford Ranch Wagon, it has great lines. Suspension and body work made it look kinda like a G-machine, and it's powered by ol' skool 312 Y block. Going to try coloring it with the same program I used for the Suby toon. So my mind took me to the next step and I tried to "Drift" the big land yacht on paper. Not a good day to be a cone.:grinyes: The pencil sketch.... http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/61RanchWagon01.jpg With the line work layer turned on ... http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/61RanchWagon02.jpg And vector layer alone... http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/61RanchWagon03.jpg lemorris 02-26-2009, 08:47 PM looks like another awesome piece from you. What's that 256,776,387 in a row? Blip 02-27-2009, 03:48 PM Thanks for the kind words.:grinyes: Finished the line work, next off to the paint program. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/61RanchWagon04.jpg Blip 02-27-2009, 07:24 PM Finished it, but not so sure about the results. The tire smoke just doesn't seem right to me. Might try painting it all over again. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/61RanchWagonAR.jpg GirlBear 02-28-2009, 07:56 PM WOW! nice job. Very cool i always love what you do. And u seemas tho u r getting better with every thing u do. if thats even possible. haha oh maybe if the tire smoke was greyer. this induces fun feelings. does that make sense? Blip 02-28-2009, 08:54 PM GB--thanks, I try to improve with very new toon. And, yep getting the tire smoke right is kickin' my butt. Got a nudge to try finishing the doodle a different way and did one without using color. Still haven't figured out the smoke, but like the overall look of this one the best. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/61RanchWagonBW.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
