Hello. I'm new to this forum.

My name is Kevin and I've owned my Intrigue for a year now. It's a 99 Olds Intrigue with the 3.5 L. I am slowly upgrading it with new aftermarket parts. It currently has a Sony head unit, Pioneer 250W 6x9s on the rear deck and 2 Kicker 12" comps in the trunk. I've also recently had the windows tinted to 35%. I see that this forum seems to have a great deal of knowledge about this car, and others, and I'd love to learn more from it. Let me start my questions with the stock rim lug pattern and stock back spacing. If any one can tell me this, I'd love to have that knowledge as I plan to put a set of 18" rims on it when I get the money. Thank you.

Transwheel has 115 as the Bolt Pattern and 52mm as the offset.

Yep its 115x5, 20's would fit but tires are going to be 35 series, too small. 19's are impossible to find and if you do they will cost too much. 18's would be the best choice, but I like the 19inch look on the intrigue OSV. So its 18x8 or 8.5 max not sure with 245/45/18's. The 255's would only work with the low profile 20's because the sidewall does not stick out, I saw this on car domain.

Are you planning on doing any performance mods?

If youre going to put those ginormous wheels on there, you could easily fit the F-body calipers/12 inch rotors and do that mod. It would look sweet as well.

Or at least do the upgrade to the 12 inch rotors with stock calipers, a little extra braking couldnt hurt with the newfound rolling mass.

Yes. The most important one is to drop a 3.8 L supercharged under the hood eventually. I'd also like to see the suspension get some help too.

Ohh and L67 swap would be sweet, but youll need more than just an engine. Theres quite a bit more involved, but hey, it would be awesome.

As for the suspension, you can do the GMPP handling kit for starter, the various lowering kits available for the Grand Prix should also work, though you will likely have some of the same complications the GP has with them.

Yeah. I understand there's more to just dropping in the engine, but it won't bother me to do it. I don't intend to drop the car though. I will put a body kit on it though, I also want to try and put a set of projector headlights on it though. A set of euro style tail lights are another thing I'd like to do. Not to mention I'm gonna paint it black and try to find a decent looking cowl induction hood for it. As you can tell, I'm looking for both performance and good looks.
