Yowser! I sense another modeling lesson coming here. Amazing work - don't be shy with the commentary though, we don't want to miss anything :)

My English leaves much to be desired (I'm from Russia), so it is easier to do my WIP in the images. So far, I simply remodel the front of the frame, using the model plastic.

The engine in the model is simplified, especially the back part of it. Therefore started to add wiring.

Then added connectors for the spark plugs, wiring a generator and traction, which is from cocpit to the gearbox

I prepared a fire extinguisher from a set of Detail Master, it will be in the cocpit. Extinguisher painted in red.

For the brake discs I used etched. Since I have two sets of etched, I thought as a make ventilated discs. To do this, the original disc, I cut in half, with both sides glue it etching, and the gap fill with strips of plastic. Later the show that turned out.

Nice detailing on the brake rotors! I will have to try that myself when an opportunity comes along.

I think, my variant of rotors is too wide. It will be better, if use the following scheme

This is absolutely awful! I just started this kit a couple of days ago, and now I find this build. I was going to paint and assemble the thing, maybe add some carbon fiber decals and some photoetch. But this is unbelievably spectacular.

It is going to be beautiful when it is finished. And I'll be watching closely.

Excellent work! Can't wait to see your completed model! As I have the same kit and I done some preparation work on the body, I do realise there are a lot of mold lines and share edges to be taken care of! Not to mention the poor fit of the engine cover!

Even though I have this kit its great to see the pieces next to a matchstick, some people use quarters or Euros which is fine, but for the minority of us living outside the US or Europe its hard to qunityify the size, thanks
