'96 SC2 Starting Problem

I have a '96 Saturn SC2 and I am experiencing some strange starting problems. If I have it running for more than 15 minutes and then I shut it off I can't start it unless I pop the clutch while pushing it, if I am driving it for less than 15 minutes it will start back up fine. Also if I let it sit for an hour or 2 after driving it, it will start fine yet again. Any idea what this might be caused by? I originally thought it might be the starter, but if it was the starter I would think that it would't matter how long I drive it or if I let it sit. Any ideas?

Bad CPS (crankshaft position sensor). They sometimes are temp dependant. During a no start situation, remove two plug wires from the coil towers and have an assistant crank the engine. If you see no spark from tower to tower, the CPS is bad.

OR

Bad engine coolant temperature sensor. Replace this first with a brass one. It is vital to many subsystems of the car. Stock one cracks sending false data to the PCM.

I will check the Temp sensor, and the CPS and will get back on what the problem was, thanks for the quick reply
