1991 Camaro RS with a 305 high out put ...will not hold a charge

lets see where do i start.....
when i got the car it was smoke port holes stopped up and a bad vule sorry bad speller anyways we took the heads off had them reworked put them back on motor back to getter runs like a dream lots of get up and go
now i cant get it to hold a charge for anything i try have done fuses new battery and new alternator all wires look good and i have a ground on the motor to the firewall is there something im missing

the car is awsome but getting the point im wanting to sale it and let someone else have the porb if i cant get it right a reply as soon as posble would be awsome but i can wait just getting a lil pissed at it

sounds like a fusible link. check for continuity from the post on the back of the alternator to the power junction bolt next to the battery, or on the battery Positive post.

With the car off, disconnect the positive battery cable. Hook an ampmeter between the positive terminal on the battery and the battery cable. How many amps is the draw? If it is more than 1/4-1/2 amps you have a drain. Leave the meter hooked up and start pulling the fuses one at a time, looking at the draw on the meter after each fuse is pulled. When the draw drops off to almost nothing you have found the bad circuit. Now track down where the draw is coming from in that circuit.

i found it... the black wire from the alternator was unhooked from the fuse block -.- she is runing good now thinks anyways
