You're doing a great job so far mate,as a Nascar fan it's surprising how similar the cockpit and suspension components were back then to what they're like now.

Great to see you building an "Underbird". Alan Kulwicki was one of the great late model drivers who thundered around the midwest and got to take the candy out of the southerner's mouths back when that was a big deal in NASCAR. Between Kulwicki and Tim Richmond, NASCAR had a lot of reasons not to be too fond of anyone who raced at Sandusky Speedway (my home track) for quite some time.

Didn't feel like doin a lot today, so just made up some duct hoses and new side windows so they line up nice.

Excellent progress, I really like the detail on the front suspension in particular. The seat is a great work in itself.

Awesome work! I like the subtle weathering you are applying to the chassis! :iceslolan

Great work so far, extremely clean.

Just wondering what color your using for your chassis, it looks to be a pretty close match to the current chassis color. Looks lighter than the Krylon Pewter Grey.

Great work James. Beautiful pics too. Can you give us some tips for getting that nice soft lighting? Are you using a soft box?

Super work as always and spot on details. A very nice tribute to one of my favorite drivers. Thanks for sharing this build with us.
Lots of good times at the track when Hooter's picked up the sponsorship!!!!

Not to take away from your build and with apologies but here is a great article on the resurrection of the "Underbird". Despite what Geoff Bodine did to the car they were able to rebuild it. And after reading this maybe you'll include the "glovebox" also.
