engine needs to learn how to idle right

1991 camaro v6 3.1 I disconnected my battery because i was replacing it with a new one, before i did this my car idled just fine, now it idles rough .I read somewhere that whenever the battery is disconnected the car needs to learn how to idle normal again how do i get it to do that what are the steps, any help is appreciated

About 10 minutes of normal driving will allow the ECM to relearn what it needs to.
