I'm getting a 1990 Toyota Camry pretty soon. Yes I know that sounds like a piece of crap but I want to change that. I don't know a crap load about cars and performance and I want to start racing the car so what all should I do to get that horsepower up? Also I'm not trying to spend a million dollars on performance parts so nothing crazy please. Thank you.

You cannot race a '90 Camry without spending a ton of money. They are not made for it, so you will have to make a total rebuild of the car and engine. Buy a different car and use the Camry to go to the parts store for parts.
