Dashboard lights, except for the gearshift lights went out suddenly, and the check vehicle light soon came on at the same time. All warning lights flash appropriately when starting the vehicle. Checked fuses and all ok. Any help greatly appreciated!

Get it scanned, you need to know the code, other wise just guessing.

Thanks but actually did get it scanned and no error codes showed up. After further checking, discovered I missed a fuse under the hood. Changed the 15 amp parking lamp fuse and it solved the problem.
Do have another little mystery. Every once in awhile I turn a corner and I hear the ding ding ding warning sign but nothing shows up. Doesn't seem to matter if it's a right or left hand turn. Power steering fluid is good and belt looks fine. Wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem? As I said I ran a diagnostic scan on it and no error codes show up.

Does it only ding when fuel is low? Could be the fuel sensor....sloshing when cornering may be causing it.

Washer fluid low perhaps?

I never let the fuel get too low so I don't think that is it. Will check on the window washer fluid though. Thanks for the suggestions.

If the light did come on there would be a history code, computers store information like that.

There was no error code before or after finding the bad fuse under the hood. I had my brother-in-law check it with his and also a mechanic agreed to do it for me without charge because I wanted to make sure my brother-in-law's was correct.
Just one of those unknown quirks I guess. Good thing is that problem has been resolved.
