Have a 91 Camry 6Cyl,210K miles. Little rust but still going. Usually dependable.
Very cold here, sub-zero.:frown: . When it starts it revs to 2K+, will drive a short distance then dies. Will restart, but can do the above a few times before driving "normally". Wondering if its gunk in throttle body freezing solid and not letting throttle body mechanicals work or Wondering if its Throttle Position sensor. Plan on spray cleaning throttle body. Any other thoughts? Thanks.

Try testing the resistance of the cold start injector.
Ignition off; the resistance should be 24 ohms @ 68 degrees F.

Just a thought

Also check for vacuum leaks.

Thanks for the suggestions. had also read through numerous other posts about erractic idle and hard starts. Concluded the throttle body components needed a cleaning.
Still quite cold here so did not remove the throttle body. Just backed the black plastic tube off and sprayed the throttle plate and interior. Ran some SeaFoam through the vacuum tubes. Cleaned up fairly well. On the next morning at -5F it started just fine, idled down to about 900 after a few minutes. Put it in drive and was able to accelerate and drove without any sputtering or hesitation. Seems it solved the problem for now. The saying goes here that if there are even small problems with a car, the bitter cold will make 'em show up for sure.
Again thanks for the suggestions.
