Gas in oil

Im guessing im intake gasket is going bad...symptoms
oil get black/dark after 750-1000 miles i changed it last night after about 2500 and i could smell just a hint of gas and my oil seems just a little thinner than normal. if so how hard is this project? after its done(if thats what it is) would it hurt if i put 0-30 oil in along with a quart of lucus (great stuff btw) being i like to race alot and im always up past 3-5500rpm yea tisk tisk i no....but thanks for any responses Josh

If you have fuel in the oil I don't think you have a intake gasket problem, it sounds more like a bad fuel pressure regulator or bad or partially plugged open injector.

Have you done any type of tests to address this issue, i.e. fuel pressure tests?

Was the vehicle running rough, strong fuel smell in exhaust, "Check Engine", light, etc. ?

nope the car runs mint its so nice and fast I LOVE it lol. but just the oil get dark quick and it had a hint of a gas smell and a little thin.

i have done some work to it dont think it would have anything to do with it

*head gasket -thats when i noticed my oil getting darker fast. and there is moisture on my oil cap still but its not coolant
*timing was redone
*new clutch
*new tranny (exploded my diff doing burnouts)
*new radiator
