2000 Intrigue--Service Vehicle, PCS, Trac Off Lights

After starting the car, the service vehicle light, PCS, and Traction Off lights remain on.

After a little searching on this forum it sounds like this info in stored in the BCM, and possibly related to to the speed sensors?

There is no ABS light on, which is a bit supprising. I thought if it's trying to shut down traction control ABS would also be effected?

Any other idea's out there? It's been really wet and sloppy with snow under the wheel wells. Trac control has tripped a few times reciently, but it's always reset itself. Is there a manual reset procedure for this?

I can only assume this is safe to drive, just possibly without traction control.

I have a scan tool that's advertised to be able to read various codes outside of the standard powertrain. I guess this might be the test. I need to scan it tommorrow. It's too late to go over tonight.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

likely a bad wheel sensor or a bad connection at one of the wheel sensors. Try your 'advanced' scanner and see if it can pull ABS codes, some can some cant....even if they say they can a lot of times they cannot. A GM tech2 scanner at a dealer$hip will tell you the problem. Before you throw your money away, take a look at the wires behind each wheel hub. Make sure they are not broken or frayed, also make sure they connections are tight (unplug them and plug them back in..be careful they are brittle)
