I think I have air trapped in my ABS unit. I replaced the brake line to the rear wheels. (rusted out) I believe air has entered the abs unit. I have bled the system using the brake pedal & i tried a suction system. Still no brakes. Is there a trick to this or do I need an ABS scanner to cycle the abs unit?
How about by-passing the ABS unit altogether? Does it also act as a proportioning valve?
thanks

I have solved the problem. Someone suggested that while bleeding the system to cycle the ignition key on & off. So I did that & it seemed to work.
the pedal has come back up & everything seems to be ok.

Big relief.....:)
