I have a 2000 blazer with 204,000 miles on it. I get vibration at 50 mph.....any reason?

50-60 MPH vibertion is usually tires and wheels.
Have you got mud on wheels?
Slipped belt on tire?
Bent wheel?
Have you had tires balanced?

What condition are the tires?

Check u joints on drive shafts.

Do you feel vibration on steering wheel or any where else?

They was all balance
Slipped belt don't think so

Tie rod was replace 20,000 miles ago.
Back tires are due.
I was thinking u joints...

-19 degrees today ...I couldn't get under the car......it dosent pull left or right....it happens in 2wd.only happens between 50-60 mph......over and under that speed smooth as the road conditions its rolling on....tie rods replaced on both sides....it happened all of a sudden.....happens coast or accellaration between 50-60 mph......

One good test is to jack it up put rear axel on stands and spin rear tires at 50-60.

If 4W do same with front end.

When my 2000 Blazer developed a bad front end vibration at about 50mph it turned out to be bad ball joints. First I balanced the wheels which helped (vibration then happened at a higher speed), but the problem didn't totally disappear until I replaced the upper and lower joints with some quality Moog parts. If your ball joints are original equipment (If they are riveted in place) they are probably on borrowed time anyway.

I did the ball joints and tie rod ends at the same time....steering wheel dosent shake...Its coming from the back...was thinking about tire rotation....

Same problem w/ my '99, it ended up being u-joints. I replaced all and have had no problem.

Did yours "clunk" when u put the car in gear? I know thats the "Old School" way of knowing if u-joints was going...

MT - 2500 was on the money (Thanks!)... 2 back tires out of balance! wound buying new ones.....Rear U Joints was Ok....
