How Much Labor for FPR Changeout ?stick64 01-09-2009, 08:00 PM How much should a ASE mechanic charge in labor to replace a fuel pressure regulator in a 2000 Blazer ? We have a 4.3 "w". thx folks MT-2500 01-10-2009, 10:42 AM Flat rate time on just regulator replace is around 2 hrs. But other test that go with regulator replacement. Computer electrical Diagnostic and fuel pressure test is around 1.5 hrs Injector balance test another 1/2 hr. Has it been proper tested for a bad fuel pressure regulator problem and is them test included in the regulator replacement time? If so you could be up to 4 hrs on it. stick64 01-10-2009, 02:58 PM Test included in labor time. Trying to decide if this is something I want to tackle myself. thx MT MT-2500 01-10-2009, 05:50 PM Test included in labor time.
