95 Z28, LT1 LOW oil pressure PLZ help

It a 95 z28 with the LT1 at idle WARM oil pressure has about 5psi and moves a little upon acceleration, (NO HIGHER THAN 15psi driving) But no knocks or loss in power, Any suggestions?????

could be a gummed up sending unit. could be worn bearings. replace the sender first and see if it reads different. if not, try a thicker oil. if the thicker oil helps then your bearings are worn and will be due for an engine rebuild soon. how many miles are on it?

I'd verify the guage accuracy first. Doesn't sound as if you have any internal damage yet. How many miles are on the engine? If the gauge is accurate there really isn't much you can do without removing the engine. Maybe go to a heavier weight oil, but that's just a band-aid fix.

Car has 124xxx showing but supposed to have been rebuilt by previous owner. I was just trying t figure out some things before i had to pull the pan off it. Hell it runs TOO good... Thanks

would be interested for a follow up here. i had similar problem. i replaced the sending unit on my 91 f-bird no change. pulled the oil pan and cleaned some junk of the screen and seemed to help went from 15 at low idle to 22-23 but think should be about 30 right?
