Couple Antique Trucksmodel_citizen 12-30-2008, 05:37 PM I decided to go old school and do a graphite and charcoal sketch of an old favorite. I love antiques. Bogey is my favorite actor. I collect GI Joes, and well, here's a 1932 Ford Gas Tanker. I'm sure it should say TEXACO or something, but I wanted to get the point across simple. Tell me what you think of the differences between the accurate tanker and the tooned fire truck converted to a motorcycle hauler. Which styles should I work on or stick to? *G* http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff72/onemodelcitizen/sketch_tanker.jpg I also added an old American La France Fire Truck A La Jay Leno. I'm working on a tow truck now. http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff72/onemodelcitizen/sketch_jay.jpg lemorris 12-31-2008, 08:49 AM Those are fine works. Keep using your pencils as they are the foundation. I like your Jay Leno. Keep it up man. -Lemorris model_citizen 01-03-2009, 06:11 PM Thanks lemorris. eleanor91 01-03-2009, 06:48 PM Really cool stuff. I like the first one most. Even without color it looks old and rusty Blip 01-04-2009, 02:07 PM Nice work. Now as a CAR-tooner, the second one grabs my eyes. Exaggerations are good and you can still recognize the vehicle. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
