2004 Buick lesabre speedometer problems

When i drive my car the actual speed is wrong. If im going 50 actual the speedometer reads 100. I was told it could be the vehicle speed sensor. If it sounds right were is that located on the vehicle in question.:smile:

Welcome to AF.
The VSS is located on the right side (passenger) of the transaxle housing extension. See pic below.
