Cerbera Speed Six Stats? NissanZ@af 03-12-2001, 05:16 PM
Does anyone have any stats or info about the TVR Cerbera Speed Six? Thanks in advance. Chris 04-18-2001, 09:35 AM I know a bit. I think it has a 350 hp straight six, with 0-60 in about 4.5 seconds. As always, its forte is incredible fun, with awesome styling:D enzo@af 04-18-2001, 04:28 PM Yup, those are pretty accurate. It's a 4 liter I6. Dimex 06-06-2001, 02:40 AM The speed six is the same thing as the tuscan isnt it? DVSNCYNIKL 06-06-2001, 07:30 AM Yeah. Here are some pics! http://www.thagarage.com/cars/tvr/1999/tuscanspeed6.jpg http://www.thagarage.com/cars/tvr/1999/tuscanspeed6rear.jpg This is the 2000 Model: http://www.chriscarsite.com/stats/tvr/tuscan/big1.jpg If you want stats, click here (http://www.cars.simplenet.com/stats/stats.mv?tvr+tuscan) Chris 06-06-2001, 09:14 AM If that isn't beauty, I odnt know what is. The mainstream British auto industry may be dieing, but the TRULY good stuff is alive and well:) enzo@af 06-06-2001, 01:39 PM The yellow pics are from the concept that was released years ago. I don't have the pics in front of me as I post this, but you should be able to see the Speed 12 concept in the background (If I remember right). I believe the drivetrain remained the same, but TVR completely overhauled the exterior. Jimmy2times 01-20-2002, 01:38 PM Tuscans have 4.3 litre straight 6 pumpin out nearly 400 hp, they dont have traction control or any of that sheet to spoil the fun, so you gotta be good or careful, im pretty sure they left ABS breaks off some cars too!! Cbass 02-10-2002, 02:40 PM I was under the impression the Cerbera was much more closely related to the Chimera than the Tuscan. The Speed 6 Cerbera, which I believe the thread was started about, happens to be pretty much the same as the 4.2 and 4.5, with the exception of the more orthodox engine, as opposed to the speed eight series. Other differences include softer suspension, higher profile tires, and less powerful brakes. Of course, this is all completely relative, when you compare even a Speed 6 to an Aston Martin or Ferrari, you have a truly different breed of GT. Cbass 02-10-2002, 02:42 PM BTW, you can see all the TVR's at the company website, which I believe is www.tvr.co.uk but a much better source would be independant sites, which you can find through webrings and good search engines. jsb88 11-02-2002, 12:23 PM The British motor industry is only dieing because of mass produced "sports cars" that do 0-60 in a few minutes. farbod 04-04-2003, 09:37 AM thier are not mass produced each tvr is hand built and they take a long time to make kaoru-tochiro 04-11-2003, 07:59 AM I hope no foreign companies like Ford or BMW buy the TVR company:( jsb88 04-23-2003, 01:59 AM I meant it is because OTHER companies make mass produced, slow sports cars. farbod 05-15-2003, 02:34 PM exactly look what ford did to aston martin Milan(HUN) 12-16-2004, 04:04 AM The speed six is the same thing as the tuscan isnt it? The engine name is AJP6 Related Links Enter the largest automotive community on the planet! |
