Happy Holidays to everybody. My driver side window on my 2001 Explorer has a mind of it's own lately.. Seems to have come off the track.. how hard is it to pop off the door panel to see what the problem is.. any help greatly appreciated..

Door panel is easily removed. If there is noise when the switch is operated and the window movews and stops, more than likely the regulator is bad. Click here (http://www.autozone.com/shopping/repairGuide.htm?pageId=0900c152801dc6a5)and scroll down until you see the door panel removal.

No problems getting the panel off.. window has come loose from metal holders,will try and reseat them tomorrow
