Ticking axle

OK, well I have a axle making some noise. Anyting out of the norm in changing a axle on a Automatic Saturn?? Anything going to bite me wile doing it in my driveway???

Axle making noise? Make sure its the axle and not the brakes or something else.


Nope nothing to it. Just dont damage the axle seals when you pry it out from the tranny. 30mm socket is needed for the axle.

Have you checked the cv joints.

CV joints are part of the axle.

Driving in a straight line you may not heard anything. The clicking is more pronounced from a bad CV joint when turning, left or right.
