Rollover accident! Need help

So I haven't been on here in a while, but I just had an accident in upstate Michigan on Christmas Eve. Rolled the bitch over twice in the snow and had to get it pulled out. She was my baby so I was not only scared but extremely depressed at the whole situation. When I got to her at the Towlot I had to air up one tire and had some minor damage luckily was all.

**The issue, however, is that the throttle is for some reason sticking and causing the engine to idle at a higher RPM. It started at about 2500 RPMs and after a few turnoffs and restarts finally got down to about 1700 rpms. However, when its kicked on and put into Drive it jerks and goes up to about 40mph without me having to even press the gas pedal. I checked to see if the pedal was pushed down far and it didn't seem stuck. The throttle cable under the hood seems to have enough tension to spring back all the way. I lubed up the cables but I was wondering if there was some other computer reasons that this may be happening..

On a kind of funny side note, my drivers door autolocks would not lock the doors but only unlock. After the accident, now they work again. Also, my service engine soon light, which had been on for over a year, is now off. Strange. I appreciate any and all help, feedback, and responses... thanks!!!

imo you were lucky that the damage and injury were minimal.

High idle speeds you describe are typical of a vacuum leak, where excess air is entering the intake manifold other than past the throttle blade.
Chances are the roll- over has knocked a vacuum line loose, or has torn it.
