I use this forum a lot to get info on problems I'm experiencing. I usually look at all the posts and kind of put them together to see the majority of the same situations. My newest problems were turn signals not working and drivers side automatic door lock would lock all the doors but not unlock, with the drivers side door lock not working at all. Success. Drivers door lock: No power to the drivers side actuator. First place to look is the wiring harness between the door jam. this seems to be the major culprit. I Pulled the rubber insulation boot as far back as I could, broken wires, two, soldiered them back together and I fixed both problems at once. Drivers door lock works and also the automatic door lock on drivers door locks and unlocks. The wife is happy. As for the turn signals not working and sometimes hearing a buzzing noise when they are engaged. There is a plastic connector inside the steering wheel cover that connects the wires on top of the multi-switch, Ford part number: E6DB-14489-DA, I found that the plastic connector has little plastic teeth that hold the wires into the connector. When I took them off the wires fell right out of the connector. I had multiple teeth broken and were not holding the wires in place. bought a new connector and everything is working fine, make sure you write down what wire goes where. Don't know if this will help anyone else, but at least it's a start. Kudos's to AF for running this board, Happy explorer owner for now until the next problem.

My wife always tells me I'm special, now I have the forum to prove it! I'll have to show her this. ;)
