1999 ford expedition no heat in front back heat ok

The heat in the front does not work only cold air- the back heat works fine any suggestions?

Check the blend door actuator up front.

Check the heat control knob in the dash. These are known to split and though they feel like they are working they are actually spinning on the shaft. A new one can be bought from Ford.
