1992 Olds Eighty-Eight Royale Leaking Coolant

My 1992 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Royale is leaking coolant constantly. My boyfriend took the reservoir out and the hose leading to the radiator is not leaking and neither is the radiator. He determined that it is leaking from under the block. I just need some knowledge as to if it is actually the block or a line leading to the block because of how much is leaking.

Is it leaking from the front of the engine, (Water pump), side of the engine, (Freeze plugs), rear of the engine, (Intake gasket, head gasket, heater hoses)< ?

Welcome to AF, realistically how would it be possible for anyone here to know where this leaking is coming from, it must be pressure tested then a visual inspection done, no other way.

True Maxwedge, but there are those rare times when you can see a puddle of coolant on the ground, hopefully still dripping, after shut down and with a little back crawling or excessive bending see where the leak is coming from.

The main reason I did not mention the pressure test is that these are laymen and do not have these types of equipment readily available to them.

We really don't know what knowhow or equipment any poster has, no? We normally stay with basic suggestions and laying down to see the source of a leak is hit and miss at best, either way from here we cannot really tell where it is coming from.
