Key Stuck In On Position

I have a 92 Sonoma and I've used the same key since I've owned it. The key is pretty worn and has some bends in it. It worked fine when I first got it but lately on occasion I would start the truck and the ignition would lock in the on position so I'd have to stall it to turn off the truck. After some wiggling the ignition would go back down to the lock position and I'd be able to remove the key. Yesterday it became stuck and no matter what I've tried it won't come out. I've tried tapping it with a screwdriver, spraying some liquid wrench on it, but it won't budge at all. Any suggestions?

The key and most likely the key cylinder is just worn out. The whole assembly with new keys can be purchased to fix this problem.

make sure your shifter is going all the way into park also ..
