Headlights keep burning out..

I have a 1994 Camaro RS and I use the H4351 light by Sylvania. I have gone through a total of 5 headlights in the past 3 months. At $30 per light, this has to stop. Any suggestions as to what might be burning them out? I've tried installing them with and without the grease they offer at autozone. I just put the grease on the connection pointslike they say to do to stop overheating.

Thanks.

any evidence of moisture in the plug area? is it the same side that burns out all the time? or is it both sides?

No, there is no evidence of moisture. Both sides keep burning out.

sounds like a short somewhere have u checked your fuse box? maybe pull the fuse or make sure u have the right size fuse in that slot....i could see the wires for one beingbad but both at the same time... maybe u hsould also check the wires where u connect the sockets at...(thinking your lights are like my 96)

I haven't checked the fuses because all the lights were working fine when I bought the car about 1 1/2 years ago. Then the fog lights stopped working.. and then the headlights started burning out. My best guess was a short in the wiring, but I have been turned off by the idea of actually pulling all the wire looking for the short. POS Camaro... You know.. it probably is just the wiring. My stereo is having a ton of problems due to wiring too. It's probably just too old.

check the switch area then, since both the headlights and fogs are giving you problems.

And check the dimmer switch.
