Fuse between battery and startergorillaboze 12-05-2008, 02:40 PM I have a chevy trailblazer (05 I think). It would not start this morning...won't even turn over. It just clicks one time when I turn the key. I tried jumping it and that didn't work. I took the battery out and took to local auto parts store to have tested. It is a good battery. He told me to look for a bad fuse in the positive battery cable line that connects to the starter. I can't seem to find a fuse in that line anywhere. Any suggestions? maxwedge 12-05-2008, 04:57 PM Welcome to AF. There are several main fuses in the under hood panel, check all of them with a test lite, but I don't think that is the issue. Make sure the battery cables are clean and tight, then check the starter relay in the same panel, also does the security lite stay on while this happens. We really need to know what year also. USA1VETTE 07-22-2009, 04:48 PM I agree with maxwedge just had the same problem with my 2002 trailblazer. I thought it was the starter relay, turns out the battery cables were corroded.Clean terminals and put some dielectric grease on and this should cure the problem. It worked for me. intimadatorsquizz 07-23-2009, 08:21 AM there's a megafuse 125amp on the side of the fuse box under the hood part #12177251 you can get at a dealer. maxwedge 07-23-2009, 06:12 PM If that fuse fails there is a major short that better be traced down first! intimadatorsquizz 07-24-2009, 08:29 AM not realy we sold quite a few when i was at the dealer they just went bad inside. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
