Hey all, I'm trying to replace my leaf springs but am having trouble removing the mounting bolt from the rubber bushing. So far no amount of banging or twisting has worked, and I'm wary about what a torch would do to the rubber. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A liberal coating of PB Blaster for a few hours should do the trick!

Get a pipe and put it on the end of the breaker bar and rock the head of the nut back and forth until it breaks loose or breaks off. If it breaks off just use a punch to get the bolt out.
