S10 Brake and Back up lights out

Hello my brake and back up lights are out, I changed a damage brake switch and replaced old bulbs in my tail lights and now my brake lights and back up lights will not come on,I turned on my light switch and my tail lights came on but when I press my brake pedal I get nothing and when I place it in reverse no backup lights either, has anyone had any of these problems before and how did you fix them.:banghead:

Have you checked fuses?
Pull rear tail lights assembley out and check for 12 volt brake and back up light power to them.
Also check all grounds real good.
Let us know on power to them.

Thanks for the info Ill pull my lights and check for power and check the grounds and get back to you,as soon as I can

Found a broken break switch , changed it and put in new bulbs but lights are still out, but tail lights still light up-- can't figure this one out
