just recently purchased this car which is a 5 speed if that makes a difference... it starts fine runs about 5-10 seconds and shuts down... keep starting it and eventually it'll stay running... let it get warm and you don't even know anything is wrong with it.

Bad Engine Coolant temperature sensor. Replace it with a brass one from the dealer. 20 bucks. Your car has two, replace the one with the ttwo wire connector. also check the connector to make sure it is corrosion free. if it is not, get a new connector also.

I just had my ignition module replaced...93 was stalling after 5-10 minutes (once it was warm).

thanks so much for the help... would i find this temp sensor on the backside in and around the throttle body right? i believe i seen a 2 wire connector in there when i was trying to figure this out... this is great i picked the car up for 250 bucks... needs this fixed, an alternator, and a radiator.
