Abs Light Problemrobogto1 11-16-2008, 11:08 AM I have a 1997 Blazer LT. The problem I have is the ABS light comes on and the window switches don't work. This seems to happen when it rains or wet out. Which leads me to beleive that the problem could be in the speed sensor or wiring from it. If anyone has a thought on this it would be welcome.:shakehead MT-2500 11-17-2008, 09:43 AM Check all wiring/fuses and power feeds and grounds. Doe it set any ABS codes? fuzzbutt 11-17-2008, 09:58 AM One other thing to check. Is the inside of your drivers door wet? robogto1 11-17-2008, 06:41 PM The inside of the door is dry . Drove the blazer today in the snow . The light did not come on . I think that it my not got wet enough to short the wires. It has not set any codes when the ABS light come on yet. robogto1 11-20-2008, 12:23 PM I got a chance to trouble shoot the system. Frist check the wires to speed sensors. I took them apart cleaned them with electronic cleaner. I put them bcak together . Then I checked the relay on the fire wall. Bingo bad relay everything working. Thanks for all the help and ideas. :grinyes: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
