93 SC2 stalls service Cant get a code

Hi, I'm new to this site..here is my problem.
My SC2 starts fine and drives fine for the first 10-20 minutes, than it stalls, it could be at a high speed or even as I come to a stop. The first few times, it started right back up. Now it is hard to start back up. Sometimes the check engine light comes on and stays on, sometimes it doesn't. I have taken it to my very trusted mechanic, and they can not get a code reading on it. Of course they also can't always replicate the problem. Tonight I picked it up, they could find the problem, I start to take it home, and of course it stalls. Than it started stalling every few seconds. This is probably the first time I forgot my cell phone in a year:redface: . I got a ride home and parked the car. Any ideas what this is?

Thank you!

First thing that pops into my mind is the fuel pump is worn, works for awhile, then over heats and quits. Find the test port on your fuel line under the hood, looks like a tire valve but a little bigger, when it stalls, push in the valve like you would let air out of a tire, be prepared for fuel to spray out. BUT if it doesn't spray out, your fuel pump has probably croaked.

Bad ECTS. Replace the one with the two wire sensor.

Check for spark during a no start situation. No spark = bad CPS.

Check fuel as catfuzz said.

Change the ECTS first before anything else :)

Thanks for the help all...It was the ignition module. Runs fine now.
