i recently installed a new 350 cc motor in my 87 monte ss.all the wires on OG motor were not reused(most were).I turn the heater on ,no heat ,but fan runs all speeds.I dont know if vac hoses should be used or not. How to get that check engine light off?
Also i installed MSD 6al ,dont know how to install the tach to work with it ,any help is welcome, thanks guys.

the heater hoses should be hot,,both...if this is not the case then there should be a valve mounted on the intake where a heater hose attaches this valve should be vacuum controlled by the heater lever..
