help misfire

I have a 97 e-150 5.4 i keep getting the same trouble code p0358 #8 primary or secondary . I have replaced the coil pack and the spark plug twice and still get a misfire can anyone tell me how to correct the problem all out of ideas.

Use a noid light and check for power to the injector. The link is a picture of one. http://www.autopart.com/tools/toolsmain/tool/T_3411.htm If you are getting fire put a long screw driver against it and your ear on the screw driver handle. Listen to make sure its working. I would also check for power to the coil. If these are working properly check the compression on the cylinder.

I took it to the dealership and everything checks out no problem with the injectors or the coil and have good compression what else could it be somebody have any answers need a hand.

I would use a noid light and check the power to the injector. Then I would put a plug in the coil and ground it to make sure its firing.
http://www.autopart.com/tools/toolsmain/tool/T_3440.htm A noid light is part number 3411 If Ford checked the everything properly use a stethoscope and make sure its working. Number 2015.
Low fuel pressure will starve an injector on the end of the line for proper fuel.
I'm surprised the dealer couldn't find the problem. You can also spray around the intake with carb. cleaner if you find a vacuum leak it will smooth out.
