Rb26dett Turbo build up, Engine Managment? Advice?s13-rb26dett 03-17-2003, 05:19 PM I started turbo upgrade thread depating single and twin idea then thread got off topic with muscle car depates on tires..... I Currently have r32 rb26dett engine with exedy twin disc clutch, tein full suspension, 72 pound injectors, custom 3 inch exhaust... Will also have fuel pump and new fuel rail to accomadate upgrades. I would like to know options on turbos other than HKS to do about 500-550 hp. I would not like to replace gearbox gears or internals yet. Just dont have the money in budget currently. What engine managment would you use? Any other recomendations you have I would appreciate. You guys have been great helping this project. Any other parts needs let me know to have the 500-550hp. Kyle phatdex 03-18-2003, 03:18 PM APEXi Power FC is pretty commonly used. sami 03-18-2003, 04:16 PM PowerFC + FCDatalogit would be a good combo. Reasonably priced turbos, look into Garrett GT25's and GT28's, straight bolt-ons for RB26DETT. SkylineUSA 03-18-2003, 10:25 PM Many people run HKS 2530, for a reason, good power 525, and torque. Very streetable not a lot of lag, they are straight bolt on, and a fairly cheap upgrade. s13-rb26dett 03-20-2003, 01:21 PM So now input on any other types of turbos other than HKs? What about precision power or Apexi, Trust....... Kyle phatdex 03-20-2003, 04:15 PM Other things are just single T-78, T-88's etc etc. T-78 is the most popular in Aus. sami 03-20-2003, 09:04 PM Originally posted by s13-rb26dett So now input on any other types of turbos other than HKs?
