please help!!

have a 1994 gmc sierra. 5.7L. when i first start my truck when the motor is completly cooled it runs perfect, but after i drive it for a little while and the motor gets warm to max temperature when i turn the truck off it wont start back it will then start flooding really bad and wont stay running.. please help

This is most likely the Engine Coolant Temp (ECT) Sensor in the intake manifold near the tstat housing.

To test this, warm the truck up and turn off the engine. Then remove the connector to the ECT and jumper the 2 wires in harness. This bypasses the ECT and tells the ECM that the engine is really warm. If it starts fine, the ECT should be replaced.
