I'm running 235/70/16 on the back and 235/65/16 on the front. Will this put any stress on my transfer case or transmission when I engage the 4x4 in the winter? Thank you.

I believe those tires are different diameters. This will cause excessive wear on your drive train. The tires must be the same diameter.

It will cause a bind in the transfer case. You need the same size tires all the way around.

Here is the story, for the past 3 years I was running 235/70/16 on the front and 235/70/16 on Lt. side rear and 225/75/16 Rt. rear. I came across an almost new pair of 235/65/16 that I put on. But I just learned that this may cause damage to the trans or trans. case. So I went back to craigslist and got me the other pair of 235/70/16 I figure tires are cheaper to replace then buying a whole tranny! Thanks Guys. :naughty:
