'89 Dodge Ram Van B350 1-ton: Fuel Injector Not Firing

Why would the left fuel injector stop firing? We've switched caps and the injectors themselves, and it always fires on the right, not the left. We
traced the wires: the wire leading to front computer module is intact, but at the point where it connects to fuel injector, it doesn't fire. PLease help! We are stranded in Albuquerque NM.

What is the condition of the connector itself that plugs onto the injector?
Are you getting a pulse on the wire right as it comes out of the computer?

Here's the wiring diagram if you think it will help. Those two (Z1) injector wires just go over to the ASD relay and are powered up with +12 volts when the key is turned on.

Thanks! :banghead: Maybe now we can stop doing what this guy is doing.
Here's the wiring diagram if you think it will help. Those two (Z1) injector wires just go over to the ASD relay and are powered up with +12 volts when the key is turned on.

I had injector #7 driver circuit failure when my van first broke down. This article says coil cooked the PCM via negative spike from secondary to Primary.
