What are the rpm's at 60 mph

Just picked up a 97 sl1 automatic with 102,000 km (60,000 miles). The rpm readings seem awfully high at 60 mph. They run around 2000 rpm, Is this normal if not what should they be spinning at. Thanks in advance for any input!

That seems alright. However i cant remember exactly what 60mph is on a SOHC. Replace your ECTS tho. This sensor if broken will not allow your torque converter to lock up. You want a brass ects from the dealer
