Sounds like tin cans when turning

My wife has a 97 Tercel, when you turn and accelerate (like in a parking lot) it sounds like the car is dragging a bunch of tin cans. The sound seems to be coming from the wheel area. The car did not make the noise when I jacked it up and tried accelerating and turning, it only does it when all four wheels are on the ground.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help in advance!

Is it coming from the front wheels? A pretty loud clicking sound?Time for some new CV axles.

Yeah, it's comming from the front wheels. I don't know if it's a clicking sound more of a fast rattling.

If you turn the wheels fully to one side and then drive slowly and it makes a clicking sound then it is your cv axle
