Bang the Drum slowly.......

Finished taking care of my front brakes a few months ago and someone mentioned that every other time that I do my front brakes, my rear drums should be at least inspected or done. He also mentioned how much of a pain they are to do. Of course, only being a weekend warrior when it comes to car repairs, I thought twice about doing it myself. Is there anyone out there that knows of a conversion kit that I can use to put rotors on my rears or actually has them on their car? Also wondering how difficult it may be and how costly. Thanks for the input.......

A kit does not exist. Doing a swap is possible but its really not practical. Replacing the shoes sucks but its not impossible. These links are directly pertinent to the 86-91 style body but it should be very similar to your setup.
