I have a 97 gt, recently, right after the transmission went out(which I have yet to repair) the car will over heat after driving for lenghty periods of time. When I open the hood, I see an emmense amount of steam coming from the general area of where the radiator hose approaches the front of the car, though I can't really tell. Coolant is definately leaking SOMEWHERE, I see puddles of orange when I park, and upon closer examination I can see coolant spilled out near the radiator in the hood. All I want to know is how could I fix this, how can I diagnose this for sure, and how much might it cost? Thanks so much for any one who helps

Based on your description it sounds like you have a radiator leak. Just pinpoint the source of the leak(s) by doing a visual check. Follow where the coolant is dripping. It is not uncommon for the seals located at each radiator reservoir tank where they mate up to the core to go bad with age. Also, check the lower and upper radiator hoses where they connect to the radiator inlet and outlet.

Well how do I go about reaching where the hose meets the radiator?

You climb under with either a pair of vice grips or a long handle pliers. There really isn't an easy way to do it. You just use the tool that you can get in there. Maybe you'll want to replace them with the screw type hose clamps once you get them off.
