any body know where the "onstar" backup battery is on a 08 equinox lt? got a diagnostic failure and the onstar person ran a diag and said I had 7 days to get it fixed. i work graveyard shift and my dealer is only open 9-5.:banghead: any help would be much appreciated.:iceslolan

if it has a plug, connectors, wires, is removable, it can be checked, tested, wiggled, poked, cussed at, removed and replaced, etc,

just an update. thanks to your giving me the location of the onstar battery, i was able to chase the wires and connectors and ground. saved myself a lot of time at the dealer as the connector/ground wire were somehow loose. it now recharges and passes dig's.
sometimes it the little stuff, even in these times of whiz bang electronic's.
