This red brake light on the dash has been on awhile. The abs light beside it is not on. Is this just a warning to replace rotors and pads or something?

To start check the brake fluid level in the reservoir located at the master cylinder.

also apply and release the parking brake. I have had people come into the shop what that same complaint only to come to find out that the parking brake was on just a click. Some people......

nope, the brake system is totally shot. you need pads, rotors, calipers, ABS module, a new canuter valve, etc...etc... etc... :evillol:

oh wait, I don't work at a national brake/muffler shop chain, so the above suggestions are probably your issue, :icon16:
